It’s time to rewind through some of the best blog posts of the week related to writing, books, creativity – and sometimes just some other fun but random stuff. Each Friday I link to my favorite posts of the week so you have another chance to catch an interesting post you might have missed or discover a new blogger.
Here are my Friday Reruns for this week.
I’m starting off with a fantastic post on some fundamental truths of writing and creativity as observed by Toni McGee Causey in 10 Things I’ve Learned.
I’m a fan of anything that tells I need to read more in order to write better, so I thoroughly enjoyed Justine Musk’s post on Storytellers Unplugged: To Develop Your Writer’s Intuition, You Must First Read Like a Maniac.
Screenwriter Scott Myers answered the question: Where to start when developing a story? on Go Into The Story. I think this strategy applies to fiction writers and screenwriters alike.
As you can see from these next 5 posts, “the end” was definitely a popular blog topic this week:
The End is the Beginning by Martha Alderson on Plot Whisperer
Should You Outline Backwards? by K.M. Weiland on Word Play
Getting to “The End” by Jenna Black on Deadline Dames
Writing Backwards by Becky Levine
Endingsby Elspeth Antonelli on It's a Mystery
According to Julie Bush, being profound means seeing meaning in your life and in this post she instructs How to be Profound: Top Ten Tips.
Congratulations to the first winner of My Story Writer writing software: J.L. Martin. Enter now to win the second copy we’re giving away next week.
