Hello and welcome to the My Story Writer blog.

In this blog I will tell you a little bit about who we are and what to expect in the future.

We are a small company made up of people who like to write. We are also professional software developers.

My Story Writer was created to fill what we consider to be a void in creative writing software. Though there are a number of applications that exist for writing, I could not find a specific product that I really wanted to use. I'm not saying that our software is perfect, but from my perspective, it fits what I need and hopefully, will fit what you need as well.

There are a great deal of features included in My Story Writer that can make you as a writer, more productive. My Story Writer also allows you to either follow a proven process, or not. That is up to you. This way, you can write completely from scratch with no outline or, you can outline to meet your specific needs. Either way, you can use all of the brainstorming features, research features and other features to track characters, events etc... to any degree that you need.

Because we are a small company, we can also respond to your requests quickly. We are always looking for ways to improve our product and welcome suggestions that can make our product better. To make suggestions, report bugs or to ask questions about the use of our software, you will have to register an account on our website. After registering you will have full access to the support center and will have the capability to view requests and reports others are making as well.

We have some exciting features planned for future releases. Some of them include (but are not limited to)

• Embedded voice recognition and readback.
• Integration of Livescribe technology - go to www.livescribe.com to check this out. After implementation you will be able to write in a notebook and then upload your writing from the notebook into My Story Writer. You will also be able to keep notes in the form of recorded voice into your writing as well.
• More intelligence when creating writing projects for different genre requirements.

And there are many more features we have on the drawing board.

We hope that you find our software easy to use and that My Story Writer makes you more productive in your creative writing.
